*checks the box that says: Blog something*

Checking the boxes of my life one at a time...

I've a new obsession now, being PRODUCTIVE. Heck yeah.

I'm done with planning things and making check lists of what I want/need to do and not follow up. Check lists are NOT check lists unless the boxes are CHECKED. I'm hell bent on checking those boxes now. My life is now a list of things that needs, that DEMANDS to be done.

And know what? I'm actually happy. I feel LIBERATED. And that is irony. I mean, logically, check lists are pretty darn rigid and constricting but nay. With every little box checked I am slowly cutting myself loose :)

This is brilliant. I am brilliant. Life is brilliant.

Carpe diem.

Bye

I am leaving this Sunday, so I'd like to just post up the stuff, well, pictures really, that I've been meaning to post in a while. Just things I've been doing these past couple of weeks, nothing much.

Adi (my lil bro) & Ayep (his bestie since kindergarten)

Hehe, went to watch Avatar for the third time (for me la), with my parents and these precious boys. Saw the 3D version in Midvalley. I watched it in 2D twice in 2 consequtive days in Alamanda too hahaha. I'm just THAT into it. :S

Adi yg tulis 'EMA TRI ISNARNI'.

Bade goodbye to my maid, Kak Ema. She's been with us for almost 5 years :) Nowadays Adi has been calling her twice a day daily and cried less. Still, he practically bawls his head off whenever Kak Ema doesn't pick up. He's so clingy that it's cute and annoying at the same time. I always bite his head off whenever he starts crying =.= He needs to learn the pains of life...ahaha.

Well, at least he doesn't cry when he glimpses the 'Music' wafer biscuits Kak Ema bought for him before she left. I took care of that. I held the pack of biscuits in front of him and said:
"NANGIS. Cepat."
and he did. And that was the last time he cried when he saw them biscuits. Yeah yeah, I'm evil bla bla bla but it works. Results is what matters. *shrugs*

One more thing, since Kak Ema came back I have been doing chores, like normal people. Yeah. I was pretty reluctant and tried to not do anything else except for making up my bed. Uh'huh I'm that shitty but not anymore. This happened:

Ain: *washes the dishes FOR me*
Me: Eh...dude, takper lah. Nanti aku buat.
Ain: Eh! Tak tak. Ni favourite chore aku kat mah.
Me: ... *memandang dgn skeptikal sekali*
Ain: Serious. Kat rumah, sink cam tempat favourite aku.
Me: *starts washing the dishes too*

And so, I've realised that doing the dishes is actually FUN! Heck yeah. There's nothing like clean dishes. I now also angkat and sidai kain though I don't like this particular chore :S and make up my bed (with Adi of course. Heh).

Mai, ini untuk kau...

Look closely at the name of the author, AIN MAISARAH.

These my dears, is from yesterday! Haha. Went to Alamanda with Ain (that's her up there) and Adi to watch Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant. The movies's nothing special but we had fun. We wanted to watch the 2:45P.M slot but didn't get the tickets so we went for the 5P.M one. While waiting for 5P.M we had lunch and just walked around.

That's when that picture came to happen. We decided to 'lepak' in MPH for a bit and discovered the Malay novels section. There's a bunch of Malay novels there and Ain went:

Ain: Tengok! Aku ngan MAI tulis!! *laughs*
Me: *snaps a picture*

Then we proceed to flipping through the Malay versions of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight (Senjakala) and New Moon (Cinta Baru). Laugh our heads off reading them. Like seriously, ayat skema yang teramat kut.

Growl - menyeringai.
Smiled wickedly - Senyuman kecil yang kelihatan sedikit bengis.
Shook - menggoncang sebentar.

All these are funny still, nothing beats Ain's fave. Harry Potter BM.

Molly: Oh my god, Albus!
Molly: ASTAGAR, Albus!

HAHAHA.

Okay, I think I'm getting distracted. Anyhoo, it's my last outing with Ain. She's flying to Australia to study Economics in Univesity Of New South Wales (UNSW),NSW, Australia under Bank Negara's sponsorship. She's going on 14th of Feb. I'll miss her dearly :'(

Right, uh BYE!

P.S:
*I snapped these pictures with my new phone! Which I burned my duit raya for ahaha...haha..ha.

*It's 2010. So what? :S My resolve has always been, since, I dunno, 2003? To EDUCATE myself.

Light Yagami is no angel

Divine assistance.

Yeah well, I was just chatting to an angel. We talked about music, the weather, and well, school. He plays the piano, recorder and two types of flutes and participates in 6 different orchestras. His English was a little funny but he was real nice :) Oh yes, he lives in Argentina and is 17 years old.

Hahaha. Nah, I just talked to this dude, who's name is Gabriel. He gave me the piano sheets for Devil May Cry 3 and 4's theme songs. It was nice, talking to him. Cheered me up lots.

*sigh*

I still haven't start listing the stuff I need for college and organize a crate of papers/books I got from the seniors for free last year. (Thanks a bunch, Fatimah!). Speaking of which, I've find out what class I'll be in for next sem:

KIRRA

Heck yeah it's funny aite? My first impression was:
"HUH?! K-kira? Raito? Death Note?! HAHA!"
Yeah well. Then the evil vibe of it settled in, like a bad omen. To top it, Fatimah my dearest housemate which I've maimed with my dagger words a couple of months ago, is in a different class! She's in....uh, Illawong if I'm not mistaken. Well, something that ends with 'wong' anyway. :(

I expected there to be only 1 class for students who selected the Malay Studies combo. I'm gonna have to start over, with, making new acquaintances I mean. I've a nasty feeling I'll be talking to Mr.Prick-in-my-head a lot in the near future. Huhh...maybe he'll look like Raito next year, considering my class name and all. That would be swell. (Do note my heavy sarcasm.)

Meh.

I'll just go listen to 'Wonderwall' by oasis some more. Got my hands on the piano sheets this afternoon. Hehe...

My fake album

This is FAKE.

Haha...yeah. It's my fake album cover with my fake album name on it by my fake band. Played around with photoshop for 3 mins and came up with this. I say it looks pretty snazzy haha.

Wanna try it? Check this out:

Words and letters in my veins

This dude here is READING.

Huh. Apparently I read too much. So what if I do? I know that I've many flaws and hang ups but I thought that my love of books is a good thing. But nooooooooo. It's a complete waste of time. Telling me I read too much is just another way of saying that I'm worthless trash...I should just rot alive and disappear. Not that I don't deserve such a fate since I'm, well, me. Well whatever. I'll read. I'll read if it kills me.

Anyway, tell me, how anybody could EVER read too much. Good thing books aren't a type of narcotics. I'd have aids and would probably be dead by the time I was 14. If I'm not allowed to read I might as well stop breathing. If you know me well enough this shouldn't be surprising at all. I, one of the millions that has aspirations to become an author, reads. A lot.

I can still remember the day I wasn't let to buy a novel because it was SPM. Well, SPM, HAH! to you. I'm done with you. And YOU will never chain me like that again, S.P.M.

I'll read whatever I want, whenever want.

*grabs a book and starts READING*

Cindy

10 days to go. Then it's up in the front lines. For me, that is. Meh.

Anyway, I think I've done enough stuff during this holiday. I shall use the term 'holiday', 'sem break' is just so...un-holiday sounding. 'Holiday' sounds festive! and fun! and longer. Uh, anyway, I manged to read 5 of the 10 books I recently bought. That's decent I suppose.

I miss my dslr. It's still in low yatt getting patched up by the nice shop keeper. It's a pity really or I could've got cool shots of the cosplayers attending Comic Fiesta 2009 last Sunday. And that 'smiley' moon I saw Monday night. *sigh*

Oh yes, my maid's going home this Sunday. My little brother's been randomly started crying for no good reason lately. Yeah, to a 9 year old who spends almost every second of the day (except when he's in school) with the maid...it's probably devastating. Heck, apocalyptic I bet.

I do my best to cheer him up. Which usually involves a sharp comment that goes "Stop crying, princess" or whatever that makes fun of his masculinity ( I'm evil, I'm sorry), slap on the back or a ruffle of his hair, a stupid joke or whatever that works that'll make him smile or laugh a little. Then again when that don't work I'll go for the 'talk'. You know, stuff like "Try put yourself in her shoes, you'd want to go home after 5 years being away, too won't you?" etc.

I don't know. What do nice and kind and good sisters do in these sort of situation anyway. Bake cookies and buy candy? Well I did bought him a Sin Chan toy from A&W and told my lil bro they look exactly alike...

Me: Kalau Adi jadik Sin Chan betul2. Nanti name adi, Sin Di!
Ain: ...a'ah, cam Cindy Crawford.
Me: ...
Adi: ...

Egh, Ain's funny that way haha.

Yeah well, that's that. I'll just continue living my life and make the most of the 10 days I've left to liberate my mind of academic, life-changing, future-depending worries I'm going to need to face later.

AVATAR

Immensely EPIC

The movie that has been pondered for 14 years and costed about half a billion dollars is...I simply can't find a more fitting word than EPIC. Yes, yes I throw that word around a lot but really, this movie is, simply EPIC (if EPIC is EVER simple. The irony of it pleases me :P). Finally, a movie that didn't come from a book. So lush, sleek, and utterly seamless, James Cameron has sealed his name in the books of history. I would go as far as describing the movie as exquisite.

There's one thing that bothers me though. Which is that, there probably shall be people out there in this world who would not, COULD not, appreciate the nuances of this movie. God, it's making me bristle just thinking about this.

AVATAR is a feat of imagination. I can discuss the movie at length but I wouldn't. Actually, I REALLY want to write a review but I fear that I might not do it justice. So I shall resist.

Such a movie is not to be told, it is to be experienced.

If you havent watched it, well, what are you waiting for? The world of Pandora awaits you.
