Everyone's wearing fingerless gloves~

Boombox (The Lonely Island featuring Julian Casablancas)

Julian is MUCH too...I honestly can't find a single word to describe how....insanely awesome-fantastic-spectacular-fabulous-epic-ace-(insert adjectives that is synonymous with uber cooleness) HE IS in this MV.

I mean...The HAIR! The Jacket! The shades! The GLOVES (haha)! The MOVES (omg omg omg)!! and of course, The VOICE (*dies*)!!!!!!!!

And the friggin' lyrics! HAHAHAHHAHA. Okay, okay, please ignore the last bit of the video alrite? It's still funny though. Boiled goose, fingerless gloves, the boombox is NOT a toy!

If you have to pick ONE person on the face of the earth to define COOL. It HAS to be JULES.

WOOOOOOOOOOAHHHHOHHHHHOHHHHHHHHHH!

The lyrics:

[The Lonely Island]
Imagine in your mind a posh country club
The stuffy old money where the poor get snubbed
The spread is bland sauerkraut and boiled goose
There's no way these people will ever cut loose

But then I walk in the room, hold my boombox high
And what happened next, will blow your mind

[Julian Casablancas]
Everything got outta control
The music was so entrancing
Everyone got out on the floor
It was a bunch of old white people dancing

[The Lonely Island]
The Big Apple, where people never dance
Spirits go down while profits expand
The cops or the dealers, who's got the juice
The street benders peddling their boiled goose

So many types of people will never get along
Till I bust out my boombox and play this song

[Julian Casablancas]
The music washed away all the hate
And society started advancing
Every demographic was represented
It was a rainbow coalition of dancing
Whoa !
Everyone was wearing fingerless gloves
Whoaaaaaoaaaaaoh !
I saw a Spanish guy doing the Bartman

[The Lonely Island]
Transport now to an old folks home
Where the elderly are tossed on their brittle bones
The orderlies are stealing, there's no excuse
Everyday for lunch they eat boiled goose

So I grabbed my boombox and hit the turbo base
And what happened next was a total disgrace

[Julian Casablancas]
Everybody started having ***
The music was way too powerful
A bunch of old people f****** like rabbits
It was disgusting to say the least
Oh!
A boombox can change the world
You gotta know your limits with a boombox
This was a cautionary tale
A boombox is not a toy

AVATAR

Immensely EPIC

The movie that has been pondered for 14 years and costed about half a billion dollars is...I simply can't find a more fitting word than EPIC. Yes, yes I throw that word around a lot but really, this movie is, simply EPIC (if EPIC is EVER simple. The irony of it pleases me :P). Finally, a movie that didn't come from a book. So lush, sleek, and utterly seamless, James Cameron has sealed his name in the books of history. I would go as far as describing the movie as exquisite.

There's one thing that bothers me though. Which is that, there probably shall be people out there in this world who would not, COULD not, appreciate the nuances of this movie. God, it's making me bristle just thinking about this.

AVATAR is a feat of imagination. I can discuss the movie at length but I wouldn't. Actually, I REALLY want to write a review but I fear that I might not do it justice. So I shall resist.

Such a movie is not to be told, it is to be experienced.

If you havent watched it, well, what are you waiting for? The world of Pandora awaits you.

Princes of Mine

Wheeeee. Last night, David sang 'America the Beautiful' in Arthur Ashe Stadium, NY at the US Open 2009 before the Women's Singels Final & Men's singles Semis.

David + Tennis + Roger = EPIC Awesomeness.

Roger beat Djokovic in the semi's (7 - 6, 7 - 5, 7 - 5) and delivered a pscyhospazztastic tweener shot that wowed even himself! xD HAHA. Seriously, how'd he do it?! But then again, nothing's impossible when you're Roger Federer armed with a tennis racquet~ JUST DO IT. Heh.

*Note: Nadal got creamed by del Potro (6 -2, 6 - 2, 6 -2). Pity.

Witness Roger's Golden Touch

David even twittered about it! He's precious :)

One more thing. Not to forget my precious Djoker (Djokovic) antics:
(Djokovic impersonating McEnroe)

"GIVE ME SOME BALLS!"

HAHA xD

UPDATE:
I had my chemistry quiz today and I think I did decent. I don't know. Oh well. Quizzes every week is normal now. So, MEH. ANOTHER %@$#^!*& Math quiz this Thursday...so sheep. Anyways, these events lit up my day :) David. Tennis. Roger. Love them.

Hamilton

I just found out that my freak of a brother cycled all the way to Hamilton from Toronto, Canada. Which is approximately 65.8km. Is he not cool? I think he is. Though my mom went, "Gila ke?" I suspect she's just worried that he might get into an accident or something.

(That's his precious racing bike there...)

All this began when my dearest brother become fascinated by the famous cyclist Lance Armstrong. He bought himself a $1000+ racing bike and apparently, started cycling all over the place. I think this is a good hobby for him. He might stop being skinny and have real muscles or something. Haha :P

Due to Abang's mysterious blog disappearance, I took the liberty of blogging this for him. Heee~

Align Center
(He's on top of the world~~~!!!)

(Which he taped while he's on the bike...=__=; Ajaib sungguh tak jatuh.)

P.S: Abang, kerjalah rajin2 di IBM. Jangan asyik naik basikal jerrrr. <---Pesanan yang Mama most probably nak sampaikan kat abang :)

Long Live The King

The 15th Crown

Undisputable, Roger Federer is the embodiment of TRIUMPH itself. With his 15th crown (Wimbledon 2009), Roger surpassed Pete Sampras' 14 grand slam record and reclaimed his rightful throne as the No. 1 Tennis Player in the world.

The epic battle for his 15th crown took place on the 5th JULY 2009. Roger took down Andy Roddick in a five setter that lasted 4 hours and 17 minutes. With 77 games played, it is the longest match every played in Grand Slam history. The fifth match alone lasted 95 minutes and is also the longest fifth set ever played.

SCORE: 5 - 7 , 7 - 6(6) , 7 - 6 (5), 3 - 6 , 16 - 14

The king of Tennis kings, Roger Federer, as hailed by Pete Sampras himself, is undoubtedly the greatest player of all time. It is expected of Roger to continue his illustrious career and soar to greater heights. His finesse blurs the line between athleticism and elegance. Roger's brilliance is unparalled, and will forever be like so.

It was with utmost pleasure and pride that I witnessed Roger's golden victory (on TV). There was not a shred of doubt in me that Roger will prevail against Roddick and break through the ranks of chasing records into that of setting NEW records himself. Never again shall there be one who can play Roger's brand of tennis. Of that, I am certain.

Walk with me, dear reader, let us relive the 15 slams of Roger Federer. Etched in my mind, heart & soul, the triupmhs of the great Roger Federer:

Journey To The 15th Crown

P.S: Roger's wife, Miroslava (Mirka) gave birth to twin girls (Myla Rose & Charlene Riva) on 23rd JULY 2009 :)

The Wilson Song

This is HILARIOUS. Some seriously fun stuff.

BWAHAHA :D

Heeeeeeeeee~ What a fun song. I can listen to that all day~ Okie dokie. Onwards to the main reason of this post. It's quite epic actually. So, be prepared. *drum rolls*

Songs Performed By Robert Sean Leonard

1. Robert Sean Leonard - Promising

2. Robert Sean Leonard - Softly and tenderly

3. Robert Sean Leonard - The lonely one

I recommend downloading No.3 - The Lonely One first. Heh. It is cute as heck. Epicly so too. Robert can't sing. HAHAHA yeah! He can't. Well, it's not off tune or anything. Just that, he sounds like he's reading instead of singing. Barely melodious. CUTE.

On the other hand, Hugh Laurie is a MUSICIAN! Unlike Robert, he can sing. Sort of anyway :P

Lovely eyh? Yes, of course.

As for your "Why, Wilson?" inquiry, Mai. Here:

Yes, WILSON belongs to US. "YOU CAN'T STOP OUR LOVE!" , Mai.

Quest For Perfection

I want to be the cup...

Yes. It is
INEVITABLE.

7th JUNE 2009 - ROGER FEDERER WON THE MEN'S SINGLES FRENCH OPEN TITLE.

Roger Federer Defeats Robin Soderling in French Open Mens Final for 2009.
The score: 6-1, 7-6, 6-4

YAY
The heavens shed tears of joy with the victorious swiss.

Fist In Air
The crowd gave a standing ovation as they witness one of Roger Federer's career defining moments.

Tears of JOY

Hail The Cup

With this, Roger Federer has made his mark in Tennis History BIGGER. Roger now matches Pete Sampras' record of 14 Grand Slam Titles & has finally complete his collection of all the Grand Slam titles on all court surfaces.

If Roger Federer's definition of 'Perfection' is to be considered by many as the best player of all time...then, 'Perfection' it is. He might not be on top of the Tennis world NOW (He's been there), he is already beyond it. Roger Federer has achieved the status LIVING LEGEND.

By playing his unique, precision, graceful and elegant yet powerful brand of tennis, Roger Federer is and shall always be a TRUE champion.

Okay, I know that pictures are worth a thousand words. Well then how about a video? Heh.

Now, let's not forget the Barca-flag-and-revolutionary-cap dude! He's LOCO that guy. Like seriously...

LOCO dude

This SO needs a video

Watch out WIMBLEDON, Roger is coming for you.
