Called Mai mai just now. Glad that she's been doing awesome. Am hoping to hang out with her and Dila tomorrow. I really really wanna see Goldilocks (Dila's new ginger persian cat with a crooked face. Well she says so anyway).

Onwards to the main purpose of this post.

SPRING IS COMING

 

Spring is coming,

Spring, a promise of life,  

The neverending cycle,  

Of nature’s dance.  

Spring is coming,  

Breaking the monotony of blank whiteness,

Salvation of diminished dreams,  

Blooming from the ashes.  

Last cold breath,  

Away with death,  

In a flurry of colours,  

The earth is reincarnated.  

Broken bones,  

Faint traces of the past,  

Let go and smile,

The drawing is by my dear friend Dila which she based off from 'Dominique' the protagonist of a short story I wrote titled 'Flower Boy'.  While the song is an excerpt from 'Flower Boy' by Sage of the band SCABIUS (They're fictional of course). Both of these pieces were done in 2007. 

I was thinking of my friends and felt like posting these. By the way, Dila is like, the MOST talented person I've ever known in my life. She actually drew a manga version of 'Flower Boy' but it's still not done yet. We put the project on hold because we had to focus on our SPM. Haha it's actually 90% done already. I'm gonna have to make more effort and help her with it.
